This just in from the city of Moulmein an Elephant and a man have been reported to have been killed. Earlier this week and elephant went savage in the small town of Moulmein, Burma causing thousands to panic as the handler, commonly referred to as the mahout by the locals, was no where to be found. The elephant tore through the city destroying homes and shops. At one point even killing a local to the area, authorities later report that he had been tramped to death by the large beast. Locals report, after the lead authority in the area, Office Orwell, saw the man dead sent another to fetch an elephant rifle. The elephant was later found in a field of grass eating when it had been shot by the officer. The officer was found justified for killing the beast after the Burmese man had been killed. The locals, after the beast was dead, rendered the animal for its meat.
